The packaging is designed for dairy products and ice cream in various forms: from ice cream in 5-litre trays, through family ice cream in 1 and 2-litre trays, to impulse ice cream, such as cones and ice cream in cups eaten with a spoon. This packaging is also used for dairy products such as cream and smooth cottage and thermised cheese.
Hybrid packaging consists of a container made by thermoforming and a PP injection lid. This provides a lid with a high-quality IML label and a cheaper 1l or 2l PS container with a label glued to the bottom, as an option. It is a perfect duo, which is a compromise between price and quality. A solution for ice cream.
Stark produces film using the casting method, i.e. flat cavity extrusion method: the melted plastic is extruded through a flat nozzle and poured onto chill rolls (calenders). The above process is carried out with the use of technologically advanced machines, i.e. single-screw or twin-screw extruders. The width of the film is adjusted to the individual needs of the customer and the machines used in the production plant (from 345 mm to 680 mm).
Stark offers a wide range of high-quality PP and PS thermoforming films. Thickness of the offered film: from 0.23 mm to 1.8 mm. A 150 mm core is used. The colour of the film depends on the customer’s expectations.
Plast-Box, as a manufacturer of plastic buckets, focuses on injection technology of thermoplastics, so-called polyolefins – mainly PP (polypropylene) and PE (polyethylene), which can be processed many times and be recycled. Plastics used in production enable the reduction of the unit weight of the produced packaging and containers, while maintaining adequate rigidity and mechanical strength, and achieving high aesthetics and/or transparency.
